This pattern includes two cute farm animals: cow and horse.

The colorful cotton comfort blankets are perfect for newborns and babies. They are particularly fun to crochet because we crochet single crochet stitches in amigurumi style as well as a part in loose half double crochet stitches.

First we crochet the head, ears and nose. Then we crochet the comforter and then sew the head and legs to it.

I recommend using cotton.

For the cow blanket:
Schachenmayr Catania in Lilac (226) and Lavender (422) – You can also use just one shade of purple.
For the horse blanket:
1 skein each of Hobbii Friends 8/4 in Pink (47) and Bordeaux (43) – or just one color
1 skein of Schachenmayr Catania in Dark Brown, color Coffee (162)
