BoxfishHandicraft Crochet Pattern from Melinda the Mermaid (PDF-file / 16 Pages)
Deep down in the glittering realm of the ocean, where the water danced in all the colors of the sky, the mermaid Melinda lived in a magnificent castle of shimmering mother-of-pearl and brightly colored coral. Her beauty was incomparable: her silky brown hair wafted through the currents like a veil, and her warm brown eyes seemed to touch the heart of every sea creature that looked into them. Her fin was a true masterpiece of nature, glowing in turquoise, royal blue, dark blue and a hint of purple, like a shimmering night sky broken by rays of light.
Melinda, the enchanting mermaid, is not only a cuddly friend, but also an inexhaustible source of creative stories and adventures in the vastness of the ocean. COMPONENTS AND WORK STEPS
The two tail fins are crocheted first. Then crochet the whole tail as well as the belly, the bikini top and the chest in one piece. The head and arms are then crocheted separately. A wig is then crocheted for the hair, onto which the hair is then knotted. The wig is now sewn onto the head. The entire tail and the bikini top are then trimmed with scales. Now use stuffing wool and yarn to tie a three-armed stabilizer for the head and neck area. The head and body are then joined together using the three-arm stabilizer. The neck is crocheted and then the neck and head are sewn together. The arms are then sewn to the body. Now finish crocheting the bikini top. Finally, the eyes and mouth are embroidered onto the face.
Melinda the mermaid is 40 cm long. She is 24 cm wide with her arms outstretched. She is 3 cm wide at the neck. Her body is 9 cm wide.
