Hamster kitty - crochet pattern

Small, round and cheeky - these are the hamster kitties. Whether you crochet them out of cotton yarn, chenille or totally fluffy is up to you. Either way, they are cute and cuddly - and very quick and easy to crochet, as they only consist of single crochet stitches and are mainly crocheted in spiral rounds.

• Chain (ch)
• Turning Chain (tch)
• Single crochet (sc)

• Increase/double crochet (inc)
• Decrease/join stitches (dec)
• everything between { } is repeated as often as stated (e.g. x3)
  Work is mainly carried out in spiral rounds.

For the big cat I used shaggy wool with 100g/60m running length, so the cat is approx. 25cm/ 10" tall. The small cat is made from 50g/125m yarn and is approx. 11cm/ 4.3" tall.

• hook size 3 for the small cat/ 7 for the large cat
• yarn with 50g/125m running length (light weight) in gray, anthracite and pink for the small cat

• shaggy yarn with 100g/60m running length (bulky) in beige, brown and pink for the big cat
• Filling cotton
• Amigurumi eyes (5mm for small cat, 15mm for large cat)
• Amigurumi nose (10mm for small cat, 20mm for large cat)
