Please meet Matthew the Christmas Elf!
Matthew, a cheerful young elf, had been dreaming about the Christmas ball for weeks.
Every night, he imagined himself twirling around the grand ballroom, dressed in his festive elf costume with bright red boots and a jingly hat.
As the day of the ball drew closer, his excitement grew—he couldn't wait to see his friends and show off the green velvet suit his mother had sewn just for him.

Magic ring;
chain stitch;

decreasing (2 sc/dc together);

3 dc cluster-3 dc joined at the top.

If you use the materials as advised above the final size of the toy is going to be21 cm (approximately 8,2") from top of the head to toes.

Yarn and Equipment

1. Alize Cotton Gold, cotton (55%), acrylic (45%), 330 m - 100 g. Weight: Sport (5 ply)
   • color terracotta (36) (for the hair). 3 g of the yarn.
   • color green (35) (for boots, breeches and the stripes on the hat) – 5 g of the yarn.
   • color light grey (200) (for the stripes on the body, socks and arms) – small amount of the yarn.
     1. YarnArt Jeans, Weight: Sport (5 ply)
   • color skin (73) (for the head and arms of the doll). 3 g of the yarn.
   • color light green (29) (for the stripes on the body, socks, arms and hat) – small amount of the yarn.
   • color red (26) (for the collar, hat and decoration of the boots) 3 g of the yarn.
     1. Crochet hooks: 2 mm (B/1- US, 14- UK), 2,5 mm (C/2 – US, 12 - UK).
     2. A pair of eyes for toys or two halfbeads Ø 4 mm (0,16 inch)
     3. Chopstick (or any other wooden stick with a blunt end) – for the stuffing of the toy.
     4. Washable polyester filling for the stuffing of the toy.
     5. Yarn needle – a long needle for assembling of the toy.
     6. Two small buttons Ø 8 mm (0,3 inch) for the bridges.
