Crochet ant pattern

Create your own little ant using this crochet pattern.

The size of the ant depends on the yarn used. Using 12wpi yarn and a 2.25mm (size B) crochet hook, the ant is approximately 11 cm (4 1/3 inches) tall not including antennas.

1. Yarn: This example was crocheted with cotton yarn YarnArt Jeans (50g = 180yards / 165m, Sport, 12wpi).
2. Crochet hook: 2.25 mm (size B), or in accordance with the yarn you use.
3. One pair of safety eyes 13 mm.
4. A wire (chenille wire sticks).
5. A little piece of a different color yarn or stitch marker (I use first one).
6. Fiber filling.
7. Thick needle.
8. Scissors, pins.
9. Fabric glue (optional).
