Easter Hen Crochet Pattern

With this crochet pattern you can create cute Easter hen.
The hen has a hole in its back where you can place an Easter egg (real or decorative). Put her in a basket, and it will become a decoration on the Easter table!

Skill level: intermediate.

MR – magic ring
st – stitch
sl.st. – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
inc – increase – two single crochet in one stitch
dec – decrease – two single crochet together
(I recommend invisible decrease)
BLO – back loops only

• white (No. 55) for the decoration

• yarn Alize Cotton Gold Hobby (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 165 m/50 gr):
• red (No. 56) for the comb and the wattles

• any different cotton thin yarn of black and other colors for decoration
• safety eyes D=8 mm
• small beads for decoration
• a piece of hard plastic for the base
