My 2nd Wings of Love. This is in a custom wolltraum cake. I added an extra row of small crocodile stitches.
Deliberate changes to the pattern: I had a large custom cake (1750 yards/4 ply) and wanted to make sure to use all of the colors. So, I did an extra row of the small crocodile stitches. The last 5 feathers on mine were 2 rows instead of 1 like the pattern said. I wanted to make sure I used enough of the light pink to white transition in my custom yarn cake, so it is a bit longer than the pattern says. For the feather outlines, I went up 25 rows, then followed the decreases like the pattern said.
Einfach grossartig. Wer sich ein wenig Mühe gibt kann ohne Probleme dieses wunderschöne Engelsflügel-Tuch nacharbeiten!

I did a variation creating wings inspired by the demon Crowley, from the book and it’s adaptation Good Omens. I have plans to create some in gold and white to represent his counterpart. :)
Still learning to read patterns, but so glad I have just because of this one! I LOVE how it turned out and plan to make more in different colors in the future!
Completed with a single color and love how it turned out.
Eigentlich sehr gut erklärt, nur schwierig waren die Enhelsschuppen.
