Petra Perl's Gestrickte Mutze Lukas. I enjoyed knitting this hat, it was great fun, and not difficult. I sent the pattern to my son in Germany for translation, but the images provided in the pattern are fairly self explanatory.

I've got yarn to make another hat. The next one will have a longer braid, which can be used as a scarf. It will be for my DIL in Berlin. :)
