Knittingreverse stockinette stitch
Description
A knitting pattern where the bumpy purl side of the fabric serves as the right side, rather than the smooth V-shaped side.
Detailed explanation
Reverse stockinette stitch is essentially standard stockinette stitch flipped over so the ‘wrong side’ becomes the face of the work. This creates a textured surface of purl bumps that is excellent for highlighting cables or other raised stitch patterns. Like regular stockinette, the fabric has a natural tendency to curl at the edges.
