It was a year from the idea to the finished shawl – mainly because I wanted to have big polka dots that are really round. That’s not so easy to achive in knitted fabric, so the shawl was hibernating until I found a solution – an easy and obvious solution. I really wonder why it took me so long …

Please mind: I developed this pattern exclusively for mohair lace yarn. There are irregular increases that remain invisible in mohair, but the increases may show in a smooth yarn. Your yarn should have a halo.

Skill level medium. The shawl is rather easy to knit, but the mohair yarn is a challenge due to the fact that you have a very hard time when you want to unravel it. It might be too much of a challenge for a beginner.
