The rainbow.
A symbol with multiple meanings. It just became clear to me,
when I designed this small, simple embroidery pattern.
Happiness, hope, peace, diversity, also prosperity and fertility are
connected to the rainbow. Religious symbolism is inherent as well
as it is now a symbol of sexual diversity.
What does it symbolize for you?

The rainbow is often used for children. With this embroidery pattern you can
for example stitch on a towel for a birth, baptism, christmas or birthday.
With a beautiful alphabet you can quickly add a name to the rainbow and
personalize it. It will definitely look good as an embroidery picture for the
children's room, I think.

I suggested thread colours from Anchor Embroidery Floss and DMC. Of course
you can also use other colours.
The rainbow is embroidered in full cross stitches and is very suitable for beginners.
