Hello Cindy, Sorry for waiting so long for an answer - I didn't see your comment at that time! I chose the following 3 yarns (just examples -feel free to use one of your own choice): - Opal (4threaded sock wool, color 7475; I had 1 ball, 14wpi) - „Aventica“ by Schachenmayr (color 82; I used approx. 3 balls, 7 wpi) - Twister Sport 500 (color 16; used about half of a ball, 11 wpi) Hope this helps! If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me via Mail, because sometimes the notification about a comment get lost.
I cannot give more details on quantities, as your rests may have different thicknesses. I recommend that you have some yarn in stock or have the opportunity to buy more yarn. The basket can be finished in any size. You can also make it with less yarn in a smaller size. You can also change the yarns and make the floor of the basket darker than the edge of the basket.
