What skills are you going to need and what will you get

♥ With a purchase you will receive a comprehensive 16-page PDF consisting of diagrams, written instructions, small workshops and many helping photos that will guide you step by step through the pattern to a beautiful result.
♥ The PDF is in landscape format. If your printer does not print this format automatically, please set it manually!
♥ Crochet skills: Easy, meaning you should have previous crochet experience. Not suitable for absolute crochet beginners.
♥ Terminology: EU/US-American Terms
♥ If you are interested in a jute-birdie, please note that jute yarn is not comparable to wool and is a stiff thread. Not easy to crochet! However, it is always doable and you will be rewarded after all the effort and glowing fingers with a wonderful cottage-look birdie!

Size information

♥ Made of cotton, your birdie (width: from tail to head, height: to top edge head)
will be approx. 7 x 4.5cm (2.8 x 1.8”) large
♥ Made of jute: approx.12,5 x 8,5cm (4.9 x 3.3”)
♥♥♥ Note: Other yarn gauges and/or other crochet hooks may of course change the size and appearance of your birdie accordingly.

What material will you need

Yarn: For the Birdie you need 100% mercerized cotton, 50g/125m run length or also thinner in Size 10; jute yarn nature, bleached, poss. colored
♥♥♥ Yarn (brands, sizes, yardages) please refer to the shopping list/crochet instructions of the purchased PDF; as well as other materials, e.g. wire, glue, stuffing, beads, etc.

♥ Hooks: EU No.2,5 (US B/1)
For the mini bow: EU No.1.25 (US Steel 9/4)
For jute: EU No.4.5 (US 7)
