A wrap skirt... I had pictures of very colourful tie-dye rags tourists buy on their vacation in Spain. At the same time, this kind of skirt is simply practical, not only on the beach. Wrap around, dressed!
Alexis is the tough girl amongst wrap skirts. Unadapted and changeable, at the same time simply uncomplicated and unshakable. Do you recognise yourself?
Thanks to the different front options, there´s something for everyone and every occasion. And with the double closure there´s next to no way something´s gonna slip even in the middle of the mosh-pit!
You can choose between a simple, even front, a pleated one and a front with a dramatic drape.
Furthermore, you will choose your favourite closure. You can also combine a zipper with the pleated front or a close the plain overlap with a buckle, get creative!
For a flattering silhouette and looong legs, the skirt sits at the natural waist. It´s slightly flared and the back is shaped with the help of darts.
A special workmanship (if you know my eBooks, I love different techniques and details) in this eBook is the yoke with a lower inner edge finished with bias tape. This will give your skirt a high-quality look while it´s rather easy to sew.

To ensure this won´t end up in a desaster you may have some experience with knit fabrics and should like to sew accurately. The skirt is asymmetric which can be tricky at times.
The instructions include size and finished measurements charts, cutting tables, sewing tips and a detailed step-by-step guide with lots of pictures. The instruction file has 26 pages.
The pattern files include A4 and A0, all in pdf.

• Woven fabrics like most cotton, hemp or linen plain weaves, lighter wool blends, but also soft leather imitation fabrics. For Version Drape use soft fabric with a nice drape.
• Closure (buckle, clip, buckle with eyelet tape etc.) Zipper version: divisible metal zipper 40cm, able to be shortened, 6mm width
