A great gift idea, that can be enjoyed for a long time.

a small occasional present for the girlfriend, simply something for every occasion.

The owl is only 3 cm/ 1.18 inch tall,

In the 4 page long instruction I explain with over 30 pictures every step.

Like this it is suited for *Beginners as well as Advanced*.

*However, the basic skills of crocheting will be needed:

• Ch = Chain stitch

• Sl st = Slip stitch

• Sc = Single crochet

• Half dc = Half double crochet

• Dc = Double crochet

*American terms

All pictures are with Schachenmayr Catania, but other cotton or sock yarn leftovers can be used, too.

The beads have a diameter of 4 mm/ 0.16 inch and are sold by Rayhter (hobby arts) in every well equipped handwork and craft shop.

Not very easy instuctions to follow. Having a very hard time understanding the directions you have. They are not clear at all as to how to do things. One says 2 ch, 1 dc into the two loops in front of the first ch 3 ch, BUT before that there was not a ch 3... What Im I not seeing?

    Agreed, the instructions are hard to understand. I made the owl’s wings and they don’t look symmetrical. I have to adjust the amounts of sc/dc to make it fit. That may be due to no punctuation in the instructions. Yes, youtube video would be great. Please try to post it here. Love the pattern but would like to see it done on video. ;)

    I'm an experienced crocheter, but these instructions are very difficult, if not impossible to follow. In places instructions are to chain 2 and then we're told to work in the chain 3. I even tried writing this out in a pattern mode, but it doesn't make sense. The owl bookmark is so sweet, but not if it can't be made.
