Crochet pattern "Klaus" the tree jar fail by Wunderlich`s Kreativchaos

Here comes "Klaus". The idea behind Klaus is that you can quickly turn empty sausage or jam jars into a sweet flower pot for sinkers or a funny vase to give away. I always think it's a shame that so many things are thrown away. That's why there is now Klaus :)

The instructions are available in German, English and Dutch in PDF format.

If you have any questions or problems, please contact me and I'll try to help as much as I can

This pattern explains step by step how to crochet Klaus. The instructions consist of 13 pages and are provided with many pictures.

You can find a free part in my shop with lots of pictures and tips on how to sew the individual parts correctly.

Difficulty level: easy

However, the instructions do not include a basic course. Therefore, you should have the following basic knowledge:

  • make solid
  • chain stitches
  • crochet in the round
    -Increase and decrease in stitches

I mainly work with cotton yarn from Carina (comparable to Catania) and with a NS of 2.0. Under these conditions, Klaus will be about 13 cm tall. The size depends on the size of your glass. You can adapt these instructions to any glass. You can also use any other cotton yarn with a length of 125m at 50 grams or your favorite wool.

I always give the material as 50 g, even if only a small amount is needed. You can use other colors as well.

  • 1 glass approx. 8 cm in diameter, approx. 12 cm high (mason jar) or glass of your choice
  • Crochet hook 2.0
  • 2 x 50 gr. Brown
  • 1 x 50 gr. White
  • 1 x 50 gr. Cream
  • black star thread
  • red filet twine (or embroidery thread)
  • 2 safety eyes 8, 10 or 12mm
  • Cotton wool
  • Scissors, glue
  • sewing utensils
  • Possibly round markers
  • Decorative butterflies or ladybugs

You only buy the crochet pattern, NOT the finished figure.

Selling, exchanging, copying and publishing (including translation into other languages) of the manual (including publication on the Internet) are prohibited.

Selling the finished figure on the internet is prohibited!
Individual figures may, with the prior approval of the author, be sold on markets with the designation of the designer
(No mass production !!!!).
I would like to point out that the sale of the finished figures is subject to certain guidelines (CE marking!) The author assumes no liability in the event of a violation of the EU guidelines.

  • Ontzettend leuk patroon. Ik heb mijn tweede wat langer gemaakt en een ander mondje met een gehaakte tong. En hij heeft verschillende bladeren. Leuk om er zo mee te spelen.
