Thiessow socks knitting pattern for cable socks unisex

I had the idea for this sock pattern in 2019. Hubby and me spent some wonderful days at the isle Ruegen at the Baltic sea. In the small village Thiessow we've visited a local market and I bought some sock yarn by a local dyer. With this yarn I've knitted the prototype of Thiessow. My husband loves these socks and wears them a lot.

Size Information

Size: 0, 1, 2. The size is also adjustable by gauge.

Size 0: Work with 4ply sock yarn or fingering weight and needle US 1 ½ /2.5mm in cable pattern. The sock will fit a foot less than 8“/20cm circumference.

Size 1: Work with 4ply sock yarn or fingering weight and needles US 1 ½ /2.5mm in cable pattern. The sock will fit a foot up to 9.5“/25cm circumference.

Size 2: Work with 6 ply sock yarn or a sport weight yarn and needles US 2.5/3mm in cable pattern for more circumference at the leg and the foot.

Materials List

Amounts needed for size 1: 80g (350y/320m)

Needles and tools: size 0/1: DPN size US1 (2.25mm), 1 ½ (2.5mm)
size 2: DPNs US2 (2.75mm), 2.5 (3mm)
all sizes: or long circular needles same sizes, cable needle, tapestry needle, scissors.
