Butterfly "Flora" - PDF crochet pattern

With this crochet pattern you can crochet your own little "Flora" in just a couple of hours!
Flora is a charming little butterfly, which is perfect for a decoration in your house/garden or as a small gift.
You can also use Flora as a toy for babys or children. If you insert a rattle box, you can use her as a rattle as well.
Flora is really versatile and you can crochet her in all the colors you like.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

SKILL LEVEL: Easy (confident beginner)

This easy-to-follow pattern contains 12 pages with detailed instructions, lots of progress pictures explaining how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this butterfly. It also includes great tips e.g. for color changes.
The instructions are easy to follow, but you should be familiar with the abbreviations below. The pattern DOESN'T contain basic crochet lessons!

Abbreviations used in the pattern (US Term): chain, magic ring, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, increase, decrease

SIZE
With the recommended yarn and hook Flora will be about 14 cm/ 5.5 inch tall.

Please note that the item will vary if you use other weights of yarn or other needle sizes.

Materials List

You will need the following tool and materials:
• DK cotton yarn, approx. 186 yds/1.75 oz = 170 m/50g, in 3 colors of your choice. You will need about 1/3 skein of each color. I used «Scheepjes Organicon» in the colors:
• color A «Broken Almond» (No. 220)
• color B «Lavender» (No. 205)
• color C «Soft Sky» (No. 216)
• Embroidery yarn or yarn scraps in black or dark brown for the eyes
• Crochet hook NS 2.5 mm (or a hook matching the yarn of your choice)
• Fiber fill
• Blunt needle
• Stitch markers (optional)
• Pins
• Scissors
• Blush for the cheeks (optional)

Ein Hingucker
Flora ließ sich einfach häkeln und zusammennähen. Mit der Verlaufswolle gab es die perfekte Abwechslung, die diesen Schmetterling lebendig erscheinen lassen. Er wird in ein Projekt einfließen, um Menschen im betreuten Wohnen beim Sommerfest eine Freude zu machen.

Katastrophe
Viele tolle Sachen zum nachmachen. Leider sind sehr viele Vorschläge nicht in deutscher Sprache, und dafür muss man auch noch bezahlen, finde ich nicht in Ordnung. Werde mir das nächste Mal genau überlegen, ob ich mir das nochmal antue.
