Great pattern! This was a very easy pattern to follow and a fun one to make!

Crochet Tennis shoes Such a cute pattern. Relative easy to follow but be aware that a few changes should be made. Such as informing the purchaser at the beginning the shoes can be made with bulky yarn instead of two strands of #4 worsted yard.Also I crocheted the size 6/7 and the sole seemed very small in width. Instructions were to use two strands of sock yard and one strand of crochet thread tightly crocheted. I had to loosen the stitch but it still seemed to small in width. However, after blocking the sole It appeared to be an appropriate size. Also the zip file contains several versions of the pattern, additional languages etc. also one version of the pattern in PDF for reading online and one version for printing out. I noticed differences between the two versions. This is how I discovered bulky yarn could be used in place of two strands of yarn so read both English versions before you. purchase materials.All in all this is an easy pattern to follow and the video was a tremendous help. I also found a youtube video that was very helpful.

missy This tutorial is very disappointing and confusing. I wish there was a video for the sole because it seems to be the most complicated part. I wish I would have read the reviews first before purchasing this pattern.

great slippers, very poor translation I love the two slipper patterns offered but unless ordered in German they are impossible to follow. I had better luck just looking at the picture. Translation into English is very confusing.

Very disappointed! I took a chance and bought this even with the bad reviews. I'm so disappointed! This is so confusing and unclear. Translation is terrible. After going through the pattern, diagrams, and pictures, I'm not even going to try to make these. Wish I could get my money back!

the downloaded pattern that went to pdf is unreadable garbled

After contact I must re-review and say they are extremely quick to respond I took a chance hoping the problem had been corrected, but was unable to download anything after purchase. Hopefully someone will contact me soon, but when you purchase an instant download, that's the expectation. I had to make several attempts just to get back in to leave as comment as it wouldn't recognize the username or password I had just created. :/

Don't buy this pattern. This pattern is not able to copy, it's 50 pages and to hard to figure out.

Great Pattern I've made four pairs so far from this pattern, I don't see how people are having trouble understanding your pattern at all honestly. I had a little trouble at first but then I sat down and read the pdf file and did the crocheting along with it and understood what to do. Though I would like it to be pointed out that these are female sizes, I first thought they were unisex.

Awful translation, terrible results. :( Please, if you are going to sell patterns, do more than run them through Google Translate before putting them out to the public. This was awful. The one positive thing - the sole shape is very nice and using the crochet thread is a great idea to keep them from stretching out of shape.

SGoodell i am an experienced with crochet and find this pattern very difficult to understand and read. Have now downloaded several baby versions of the pattern in an effort to understand this more. Poor English translation. I wish there was a way to get some help with it as the pattern is very cute. Seems like parts are missing. Update, after receiving all the downloads and watching the videos, I was able to complete the pattern with few problems. The sole of the shoe is slightly exposed on some areas of the pattern, so be aware of that when selecting colors for the sole of the slipper.

I followed the pattern exactly and it was terrible. The proportions for the sole are way off and I have now had to modify and create my own way of making the sole.

Downloaded fine. Please read the pattern through before you start. If you use a different kind of yarn, your results will be very different. I used Red Heart Super Saver....they look like slippers, not like shoes. They are cute, but I had to do a lot of changes, because I don't have access to the materials she used. It was worth the price of the pattern, but the thread/yarn makes the difference between shoes and slippers.

Help! The pattern for the sole is a bit confusing for me. Is there a video for the sole? I'm getting stuck after row 6. It then says to repeat "row". Not sure what row it is referring to...?

Great pattern, made even better! I made this pattern before the new English update and though I had a little problem navigating at first, it just took a bit of thought and I got the pattern right. The new version is AWSOME! This is the first slipper pattern I've EVER found that actually FITS the foot! I made the sole with two threads of sock yarn (acrylic) and one thread of Red Heart #3 crochet cotton with a 2.7mm (US 00) steel hook. Came out wonderfully thick. Did the uppers in worsted weight cotton (instead of acrylics) because I'm just more of a fan of cotton … they worked out fantastically and my daughter is wearing them everywhere. I plan to make a pair in every color for her and me! THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL PATTERN!!! PS: just one note - I measured my foot in cm before finishing the sole - I wear a size 6, but had to add 2 rows (about 2 cm) to make them fit a bit better because the uppers tend to pull the sole a little smaller. Make the sole about 2-3 cm longer than your foot and you will find it fits better, I think.

Horrible pattern. I got screwed. This pattern sucks. As soon as I got to round 3 after the sole, it may as well be written in Japanese. I don't understand it at all and I am an advanced crocheter and I cant even begin to make this shoe work. Please put down your crack pipe and stop charging people for a patter that makes Zero Sense, I want a refund or you make me a pair and send it to me in a size 8. My customers are not happy right now

I found this pattern to be VERY confusing. I consider myself an advanced crocheter but after spending most of the day trying, to make sense of this pattern I finally have gave up. The translation to English is very poor and I found myself stuck and was trying to use the pictures to help guide me but they didn't help. Too bad because they are very cute. I will be trying to find another pattern for these, so i can make these cute slippers.

Very cute pattern! I paid through paypal and was able to download the pattern right away. No problems at all. Now at first glance of the pattern instructions that were translated it was very confusing and I didn't understand what was being said. Then I noticed the English or ( American ) version in another file that I received with the translated file. This pattern is much easier to read, follow, and understand. I am confident that I will be able to make them without difficulty now. So thank you for this most adorable pattern! my sister is going to love these!
