Knitting pattern for guest towel 2 Color Combo

With the 2 Color Combo pattern you can knit this beautiful towel duo.
The colors I used made me think of Santorini with the blue and white houses, the Finnish flag or the Delft tiles.
But I’m sure there are many other gorgeous color combinations.
Both sides look great, the front rich in contrast, like brickwork or rail tracks, and the back delicate with less color contrast, but with little eyelets due to the slip stitches.

Knitting skills needed

• cast on,
• knit and purl,
• knit edge stitches,
• slip purlwise (with yarn in front / with yarn in back),
• cast off

Pattern description
The 4-page instructions explain both knitting patterns used for the towels.
The two-color slip-stitch pattern is represented by a chart, including color arrangement.
It is explained how to attach the hanger, on one side is is knitted on and sewed on on the other side.
For those who like the pattern, but do not want to knit towels, but, for example, a baby blanket, there is a clue on how to convert the total stitch number for other widths.

Size Information

A towel is approximately 12 inches wide and 14 inches long.

Materials List

• 1 circular needle (US size 2.5, 24 inches long) or a pair of needles (US size 2.5)
• Cotton yarn (100% cotton) in 2 colors (100g of each color)
  Yarn weight: Fingering or Sport
  If you take a Sport-weight cotton yarn, the towels will become a little bigger.
• For the strap: 2 double-pointed needles (US size 2.5)
• 1 darning needle for weaving in the yarn ends and attaching the strap
