musste einfach mal sehen, was es mit dieser Bewertung auf sich hat. Als ich dann die Kommentare las, habe ich mich kringelig gelacht - sorry, aber diese wortwörtlichen Übersetzungen ins Englische sind einfach zu drollig. Habe mir mal in einem Englisch-Kurs einen Spaß erlaubt und Ludwig Thoma's Lausbubeng'schichten - von weiß nicht wem wortwörtlich ins Englische übersetzt - unserem nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtigen Teacher als Unterrichtsmaterial gegeben: hierin kam u.a. die Redewende "I only understand station" und "it goes about the sausage" vor, das löste auch solche Reaktionen aus - köstlich.. Danke für diese herrlichen Lachmomente :-) Die Anleitung ist Gold wert, würde die Version 1.0 in jedem Fall aufbewahren :-)

I SOOOO want to purchase this pattern, but am hesitant to do so....because I AM A BEGINNER. Were you concerns addressed. Would you consider sending me YOUR revised pattern? I don't mind paying you at all!! ;-))

glad some things have been cleared up but I still am at a loss as to knit right and knit left. by looking down in the pattern it seems that knit right may mean garter stitch (knit every row)
but knit left has me baffled, do you perhaps mean right side row (RS) or wrong side row (WS). Perhaps you could look at an English knitting pattern and take the set up and language from there.

Have just downloaded the pattern and it still says '1 envelope M' - '2 envelope M' and 'border M' - like others I do not understand this terminology. If you have updated it and I have downloaded on 22-01-16 as suggested how come it still shows this - I do not understand.

please please please can someone tell me what '1 envelope M' mean and '2 M right' in the instructions? I have been knitting for years and never ever come across these abbreviations or stitiches

AJCrafts if you can figure out a pattern please would you share it with me. I am also going to try and figure one out because I really like the sweater. My e-mail is j99kes@gmail .com. I have no idea what these terms are that this person is talking about.

I agree with comments below. I am an experienced knitter with over 40 years experience and don't understand the pattern row of this pattern at all. I think I will end up just making my own pattern as I think you may mean year forward knit 2 together but I am sorry I bothered to buy this pattern as it really doesn't make sense and a beginner would have even less chance of understanding it. I can probably work out a way to do it but wouldn't recommend this to any knitter!

So now I see you one basic answer for all complaints. I am not a beginner as I said before, in fact I am a advance knitter. This pattern does not make any sense to me.

I am so sorry that I bought this pattern. I am a advanced knitter and cannot make heads or tails of this pattern. You say to use a 4- 41/2 needle then say you used a size 5 circular what size are you suppose to use? Do you cast on 146 sts. o start? and what is 2M? What do you mean on row 2 Random? and what the heck is a envelope M? I love the sweater but I have no idea how to even start.

Hallo, es ist richtig dies ist keine Anleitung um Stricken zu lernen. Das steht auch nicht in der Produktbeschreibung. Wenn Du das meinst. Die Anlweitung ist zwar für Anfängerinnen geeignet, aber die Grundlagen sollte man beherrschen wie Maschenanschlag, rechte oder linke Maschen und das Abketten von Maschen. Hierzu gibt es ja sehr viele Videos auf youtube. Hoffe die Antwort hat Dir geholfen. Gruss Andrea
Hello, it is true this is not a guide to learn to knit. That is not in the product description. If you mean. The pattern is suitable for beginners, but the basics you should be able as mesh stop, right or left mesh and the finish of meshes. To do this there are many videos on youtube. It seems to be incomplete, I don't see how to start or go on, no pictures of stitches nor explanations of terms and abbreviations...I need a little more guidance as I am not very experienced. The difference in the crochet patterns I bought and this one are like night/day. Please advise if more info is available. Thank you.
