Fine Lines - Knitting pattern for fingerless mittens

These fingerless mittens featuring elegant Fine Lines are perfect companions for the cold season.

If you like it very soft, choose a fingering yarn (e.g. sock wool) and combine it with a lace-weight mohair yarn of a matching shade. The two yarns are held together in this case. That would be the elegant luxury variant.

If you prefer a more sporty look, pick two contrasting colors of a sport-weight yarn.

The mittens have negative ease. They are stretchy enough to fit snugly. The dimensions may vary depending on the yarn weight and needle size.

Materials List

• 5 DPNs (3mm/US 2, 20 cm/8“ long)
• darning needle to weave in ends
• sport-weight yarn, ca. 190 to 200 meters / approx. 60 g,
or fingering yarn, ca. 120 meters / approx. 30 g, combined (held together)
with a lace yarn, 120 meters / approx. 10 g
• optional: 1 to 2 stitch holders
