• cable 4 back (using a cable needle)
• cable 4 front (using a cable needle)
• make yarnovers
• knit 2 together
• slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over
• cast off

The cowl is 14 inches (36 cm) wide and 9 inches (23 cm) long. Depending on yarn weight and needle size, the dimensions may vary.
• 1 circular knitting needle (US size 2.5 / 3 mm, 24 inches to 32 inches / 60 bis 80 cm long)
• 150g of Sport (6-ply) yarn; you can also use 4-ply yarn (sock yarn weight). The cowl will be a little smaller then with the number of stitches given here.
• Beads, e.g. Rocailles, with an outside diameter of ca. 4mm and a hole diameter of 1.5 mm; 400 beads will be enough
• 1 very thin crochet hook 0.75 mm for pulling stitches through beads
