Facilissimo - Easy knitting pattern for shawl

Knitting this beautiful shawl is facilissimo – easy as pie!
Only three stitch types are used (knit stitches, purl stitches and some yarnovers).
The pattern is beginner-friendly and the shawl can be knit while watching TV.
Knowing how to cast on stitches, knit and purl, make yarnovers and cast off stitches is all you need.
Stitches are only counted once, when casting on.
After that, you can do without counting stitches or rows.
The shawl gets its gorgeous look from the combination of a 4-ply yarn (fingering / sock yarn weight)
and a 2-ply lace yarn.
