The shawl presented is a wonderful colored triangular shawl, which is warm and beautiful. It will be one of your favorites.
It is made of singular modules. Those are united to a shawl by picking up stitches on existing modules and casting on additional stitches.
In total there are 21 modules, and another 7 for the finishing.

What skills are you going to need and what will you get

You’ll get an instruction of 8 pages with several detailed pictures.
The instruction is describing all rows of the basic module in detail as well as additional steps to create the whole shawl.
The instruction is suitable for beginners. Some basic terms and techniques like knitting two stitches together, cast-off, etc. is mandatory.
Passing over stitches is also part of this instruction. These steps are described herein, but if you are not aware how to do it, you might easily work on it by watching some basic tutorials.

Size information

The size of the shawl is appr. 74,8 inch x 30,3 inch
The size can vary slightly as soon as you take other yarns or other needles.
In addition, you might want to add more modules, e.g. another complete row of modules in order to create a much bigger shawl.

What material will you need

You’ll need
200 g (4 x 50 g) Drops Delight, (75%Wool, 25%Polyamide)
Yardage 50g = 175m, Colour 12,
or any other yarn with similar strength.
100 g Viking Nordlys (75%Superwash-Wool, 25% Nylon)
Yardage 100g = 350m, Colour 903, black.

You need only appr. 50 g of the black yarn, the skeins of this yarn are however sold as 100g per skein.
Needles: No. 6 (US); circular needle,
For the finishing it is useful to have 2 circular needles in place with the same size.
Scissors, sewing needle.
You can use other yarns as well, then you might need a needle of other size.
I recommend yarns with a long colour gradient.
