Just Married, Door Wreath

It's done, my wedding door wreath with my own roses is finally done! 🙂

What skills are you going to need and what will you get

This pattern is 29 pages long and includes a materials list as well as detailed instructions, instructional text for each round and many detailed photos to help you better understand the pattern.

Since this crochet work is very time consuming, I recommend these instructions mainly for very patient people. 🙂

To crochet this pattern you should be able to crochet:

• slip stitch
• chain stitch
• single crochet stitches
• double crochets
• half double crochets
• mesh ring (magic ring)
• increase and decrease stitches
• as well as be able to crochet in spirals

Size information

I crocheted Door Wreathwith Scheepjes Catona (50g, length = 125 m) and a needle size of 2.0 mm, sometimes also with 3.0 mm and the door wreath has a diameter of 30 cm.

What material will you need

• Crochet hook size 2,5 mm
• Crochet hook size 3,0 mm only for the door wreath
• Fine Yarn (125m / 50g, Cotton):
  • 4 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 222, pink
  • 1 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 516, red
  • 2 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 106, white
  • 2 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 255, skin color
  • 1 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 157, brown
    1 x Scheepjes Catona, Color-Number: 110, black
• 1 x Catania Originals, Color-Number: 0205, green
• styrofoam ring, Ø 30 cm, flat back
• Pipe cleaner wire (length: 16 cm, I bought mine in the tobacco shop)
• Glass beads, gold approx. 4 mm
• 2 pairs of googly eyes, 8 mm
• possibly hot glue and / or sewing thread, sewing and darning needle, scissors, pins
• Lace in any color for the bride
• black ribbon for the groom bow tie
• white velvet ribbon for hanging the wreath
• 2 wenco heart applications & possibly other decorations
