Easy and simple to use sewing pattern and tutorial (with many photos) for single layer cotton woven fabric summer headband, for small to large heads.

Headband has doubled ties, pleats to ties and elastic in the elastic covering in back.

This headband keep your hair back and away from your face.

!!! You do not need a color printer to print sewing patterns, because all lines and marks of patterns are in black color.

Sewing pattern includes 14 sizes, with a head circumference range:

19 3/4 inches (50 cm); 20 1/8 inches (51 cm); 20 1/2 inches (52 cm); 20 7/8 inches (53 cm);
21 1/4 inches (54 cm); 21 5/8 inches (55 cm); 22 inches (56 cm); 22 1/2 inches (57 cm);
22 7/8 inches (58 cm); 23 1/4 inches (59 cm); 23 5/8 inches (60 cm); 24 inches (61 cm);
24 3/8 inches (62 cm); 24 7/8 inches (63 cm)

How to measure your head circumference:

Place the string or tape measure around your head about 1/4 inches (0,5 cm) above your ear, completely circling your head.

All patterns with seam allowances.

All patterns can be printed on both US Letter size paper and A4 size paper.

US Letter size paper: 8.5 x 11.0 inches (21,6 x 27,9 cm); A4 size paper: 8.3 x 11.7 inches (21,0 x 29,7 cm)

All measurements in patterns and tutorial are in both inches ('') and centimeters (cm).

To sew headband you need:

You will need a scrap of lightweight soft thin woven cotton fabric for the headband. Scrap size is 47 inches wide x 37 inches high (120 cm wide x 94 cm high). This scrap size is suitable for small to large size headbands.

You will also need 4 3/8 inches (11 cm) of 1/4 inches (0,6 cm) wide elastic. This length of elastic include seam allowances. Seam allowance is 3/4 inches (2 cm) to each end of the elastic.
