Crocheting is fairly easy, making this project well suited for confident beginners. Basic crochet skills are required: working in the round, slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr), as well as increases and decreases.

The pattern is provided as a PDF file and includes 15 pages with numerous color photos that explain and illustrate every step in detail.

A finished lantern has the following measurements:
Width: 20 cm
Length: approx. 24 cm (measured without the tassel)

Materials needed:

Crochet hook: 3 mm

Cotton yarn (e.g., Catania, Catona/Scheepjes, Capri/Katia, Limone/Schöller & Stahl) in various colors

Metal rings Ø 10 cm and 20 cm

Optional: LED light with remote, electric tealight, solar bulb, etc.

Optional: Wooden beads, beads
