The beautiful triangle-shaped shawl "Prairie" is crocheted in an unique way.
The first part is worked from the tip to the neckside and then it changes from the neckside to the lower tip and back to the other neckside.
Worked in a color changing yarn such as a non-twisted yarn cake, it will give the shawl a wonderful effect.
Approx. 1200 - 1500 meters [approx. 1312 – 1640 yds] of 4ply yarn (you can chose 3ply yarn, too. The result will be a smaller shawl) such as Bamboo Fine by Alize or laceweight yarn such as Laceball by Schoppel
Crochet hook US size G (if using 3ply yarn use US size E or D)
one open stitch marker (e.g. a piece of waste yarn or a paper clip or curtain wheel)
If needed materials for the tassels (making the tassels is not explained in the pattern)
Adjustable ring / magic ring
Front post double crochet
Back post double crochet
Finished size after blocking approx. 250 x 95 cm [approx 98.5 x 37.5 in]
This is the pattern for the lofty crochet shawl "Dance With Dolphins" which keeps your shoulders warm and cozy on mild days or evenings.
Worked in a sparkling yarn, it is a wonderful eye-catcher at festive occations.
The shawl can be worked in many yarn weights. It will look especially nice when using a gradient yarn such as Laceball by Schoppel. The patterns skill level is easy, the scarf can be crocheted by beginners and advanced crocheters because it consists mostly of chains, single crochets and double crochets.

The most popular pattern in my shop is the infinity scarf "Elegancia"!
For one scarf you need:
♦ gradient yarn, 3-ply, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, about 1000 m (I used the yarn cake "Shades of Grey" from "Little favorites by Rea")
♦ crochet hook: 3,0 mm
You should know the following things (US terms): chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, puff stitches. (You get a separate PDF file in which I explain how to crochet the puff stitches)
