There are so many quilt patterns in which you need fabric strips or rectangles and/or squares. A classic quilt pattern is the Log Cabin block.
I will show you here how to cut the strips, rectangles and squares on yardage. You can use these fabric pieces for a small Log Cabin heart, for example. Maybe you'll join in and cut out the fabric pieces directly?
